Darrell Sosbee (left)

Darrell Sosbee was born and raised in Oconee County. He has been married for 30 years to his wife Beverly and has two children, Natalie and Scott. He has been a member of Athens Area Home Builders Association for over 20 years.

Darrell's commitment to quality construction guarantees satisfied homeowners who are proud to own a Sosbee home and know they have made a solid investment in their family's future.

Darrell started his career in the building trades as an electrician when he was 18 years old and soon after obtained his electrical license. He has owned and managed his own electrical company, D&R Electric, for over 30 years. He has been building quality homes for over 25 years. Darrell has also established himself as one of the leading developers in the area by developing subdivisions for 20 years. He has developed the following subdivisions:

Morgan Manor, Darlington Station, Twelve Oaks, Founder's Grove, Welbrook Farms, Settler's Ridge, Huntington Shoals, Southwind Manor, Meadow Springs

In addition to the subdivisions listed above, Sosbee Ventures has also built homes in: Brookwood, Fernwood, Ashland, Woodhaven, Stonebridge, Fieldstone

Lee is a local builder that has been involved in the construction industry for over 30 years. He started in the residential building market in the mid-70’s in subdivisions such as Ceder Creek, Forest Heights and Crestwood. In the 80’s Lee worked on homes in High Ridge, Woodhaven, Olde Lexington Gardens, Huntington Park, and Riverbottom Plantation. In 1985 he joined Saye Construction Co., a fourth generation builder in the Athens / Oconee area as a Construction Manager. Lee was involved in the construction of many of the homes in Jennings Mill Country Club, Crystal Hills, Riverbottom Plantation, Westwood Hills, Windy Creek, Hickory Hills, Olde Lexington Gardens, and Lane Creek Plantation.

Lee is now proud to be associated with Sosbee Ventures as builder of quality homes in the north east Georgia area. Lee is a hands on builder that takes pride in the product in which he is involved. Since Lee has joined Sosbee Ventures he has built homes in Wellbrook Farms, Founders Grove/Settlers Ridge, Southwind Manor, Huntington Shoals, and Meadow Springs.
